Norsk Folkemuseum selects City Security
It became clear a short time ago, after the Norsk Folkemuseum, in collaboration with several museums on Bygdøy in Oslo, put out the assignment for tender.
The assignment is essentially to protect buildings and assets on the museum grounds. The contract will be awarded following a careful evaluation of several participants in the recently concluded tender round.
The Norwegian Museum of Cultural History is a large museum in Oslo. It showcases the cultural history of everyday life in Norway from the 16th century up to the present day, and the museum is part of the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History Foundation. Among the attractions is the Gol Stave Church from around the year 1200. Houses from Norwegian rural environments are gathered in farmsteads from different districts, and houses from towns are located in block housing in the museum's «Old Town».

The museums have focused on both quality in the security service and a sustainable price for the foundation. This is according to Anders Ek, Managing Director of City Security.
We have a good dialogue about how we can jointly develop security measures in a solution that provides the museums with the peace of mind they need. This particularly applies to fire safety and guiding emergency services should anything happen.
